Policy Advisory & Regional Harmonization

About this program:

What works in one community should inform policy across the region. We turn local successes into regional policy guidance and standards across ECOWAS and AES.

West Africa is marked by political fragmentation between ECOWAS and the Alliance of Sahel States. We bridge the two through policy coherence and shared learning, and we bring evidence and practical experience from our other programs into the conversation. Bridging ECOWAS and AES divides is one of our core values.

In practice (illustrative example) Lessons from a local dialogue may be written up as a short policy brief and shared with ECOWAS and AES partners, so that each side learns from the same evidence.
